Could I install both Vista 32 and Vista 64 on to the same computer via a dual boot system using one key?
I have to use Vista 32 for telecommuting to work but I would prefer to use Vista 64 for my home purposes, and just boot back and forth as needed.
Is this doable?
Thanks.
I will try to explain this as best as possible.
To connect to my schools wired LAN, we had to set up a network connection that uses our school ID and password.
The problem is, the "connect to network" for my school keeps popping up all the time when I am not at school, and connected at...
I'm using a HX520 to power my new server that I put in an Antec 1200 case. No complaints about the PSU itself, but the length of the 8 pin CPU power connector is too short to use the routing holes to put it behind the motherboard (Asus P5Q PRO). So I have it draped across the whole front of the...
After reading some other threads here, I downloaded and ran CoreTemp. It is coming back with temps around 28 or so.
Are the onboard sensors of the Asus really that inaccurate?
(BTW I lol'd @ the booger comment :D )
Currently my Asus PQ5 Pro (506 bios) is reporting my temps for the 2180 at 44 after 24 hours idle. I'm cooling it with a Arctic Freezer 7 with stock thermal paste.
That seems rather high to me...
As an aside, I was digging in my parts box looking for extra right angle SATA cables, and I found two that had Foxconn printed on them as well. So I guess they make cables too.
I just got a Asus PQ5 Pro from Newegg today. I took it out of the package, and upon inspecting it, Foxconn was stamped on the top of the metal housing that covers the RJ-45 and USB ports.
Whats the deal with that? Does Foxconn own Asus or vice versa?
Building a home server and I need the most stable and durable board that I can find.
Ideally, it would have at least 8 usable SATA ports (will not be doing motherboard raid). I do NOT care at all about overclocking. It just needs to drive a E2180 and 8 750gb HDDs without giving me any grief...
