ATi 4870 X2 (R700) previews thread

I have used 8800GT SLI, and 9800GX2, the GT's in SLI had a bit of micro-stuttering when AFR was used. The 9800GX2 did not have as much micro-stuttering, it still had a little but far less noticable. If micro-stuttering is indeed solved with the HD4870X2 that is good reason to look into buying one.

9800GTX 1GB Performance Preview?

Thats good to know. Some games like Oblivion with Mods are very memory hungry and prove that having more Vram then 512mb is not overkill.

9800GX2 is about to reach End of Life

If the leap in performance of the 9900GTX in relation to the 9800GX2 is anything like the leap from 7950GX2 to 8800GTX then the 9800GX2 will definatly be obsolete.
