Yes you can, but don't you still have to format the entire drive with TrueCrypt volumes, even if only one volume is for sensitive files? Doesn't that also mean that you must have Admin privileges to be able to log on to either TrueCrypt volume? I don't always have Admin privileges at work...

Thanks for the suggestions and ideas, guys. Here's the latest... I used the Test Hard Disk Drive 1.0 tool from Hiren's BootCD 8.7. The surface scan found 9 errors in one sector and repaired them. After that I booted into Windows without any problem. The drive still didn't show up in...

I think that "quote" was actually a statement by C. Everett Koop, Reagan's Surgeon General. Koop claimed that the Reagan administration didn't push hard to find a cure because gays and drug users were the primary victims. I'm sure a Google search would turn up more info on this issue as well. ;)
