Quad core for $266 in July (hopefully). Lets see some CHEAP crunching builds?

I know it's kind of out of topic but... what is better single quad core like q6600 or a dual dual core like in the Mac Pros? I know the Mac Pro uses xeons and the q6600 is not but for programs like F@H, does it make any difference? which one is better for which cases? thanks, Seung

HI, I got a macbook (C2D 2.0Ghz) that i've been running F@H on and now I can't get it to run. I stopped it for couple hours and when i try to restart it, it doesn't start up. any ideas? thanks, Seung

thanks. i got to thinking... what do you think about the ps3 for folding? I read up on the ppd and what not but i'm still not sure if it makes sense to get one or build a machine. what do you think will be best? let's say i have about $1000 to spend. thanks, Seung
