LCD's and dead pixels?

It is not that noticeable as long as you don't run on black screen. Mine has one at the right end corner. Kind of like it. :) It works like fingerprint, and will be hard for you to find two LCDs with exact same type of deadpixels at exact same locations. So, if someone switched yours, you will...

For those of you who have used ASUS *and* Epox AMD Boards

It sux that Anandtech doesn't allow you to view the result unless you vote. It will make the result not so accurate since some people will vote just to see the result.( me included ) ;)

Are you saying the refurbished A7N8X Deluxe you got from Newegg.com is board ver 1.1 ? That is wierd, all the retail new A7N8X Deluxe I saw are ver 1.4. I wondered where Newegg got these?

1287 P4 1.6G@2.4G on IT7MAX, 150FSB, Radeon 8500 128MB @default. Can't live with this. Have to test my 9700Pro on the other computer.

Positive. I formatted the whole C partition and reinstalled Windows XP in order to make the newly purchased 9700pro run clean without any old driver conflicts. After that, I started overclocking the system. I just lower the system setting to all default, FSB133, stock voltage, stock Video card...

Both of the boards I have ( v1.4 one, and exchanged v3.0 one) are retail ATI built by ATI Radeon 9700Pro from retail store, they are not Power by ATI boards by any third party. Since this happened to me on both boards, I thought it might be a very popular problem, so I stoped exchanging it and...
