Need Help: New P4 System Fails to Boot

6638 3DMARK Score??? EDIt: 3dmark doesn't work!!

There's definetly something wrong, my 3DMark Score is around 7000 with 1.2ghz Athlon 256MB Mushkin PC2100 DDR @ CAS222 GeForce3 Ti200 moderately overclocked (still slower then a Ti500 tho) all on a Soyo Dragon Plus Mobo There's no need to tinker with settings in 3DMark, most people just use...

I called them once (it took about 40 minutes to get connected though) and the guy on the other end could barely speak english and didnt know enough to solve my problem :confused: Amen to that.

Geforce4 Ti4400 Overclockability

I guess i've been out of the video card scene enough lately to miss the clockspeeds of the Ti4400 and havn't heard a word about the overclockability of this card. If anyone can supply me with this info, and maybe some overclocking stories, it would be much appreciated. ;)

As many have said, IT IS a fan header problem!!! The CHAFAN1, 2 & 3 headers aren't the only ones on the board. Look just above the RAM slots and you'll see the CPUFAN1 and CPUFAN2 headers!!! Use CPUFAN1, PROBLEM SOLVED! (I hope :D) Oh and CHAFAN3 ought to have the Chipset fan pulgged into it.

Fan Filters and Antec Cases

Thanks LuDaCriS66, thise were the type of filters I was refering to. I was thinking of getting that same case and using those filters. I already have a 1030b and didnt really think that the filters could fit, but I wanted to make sure.

question about ddr sdram (this may sound ridiculous)

PC1600 = 100mhz x2 PC2100 = 133mhz x 2 PC2700 = 166mhz x 2 No, you dont have to use ddr with an Athlon XP and you can use PC1600 rather than PC2100, but that would decrease performance, currently, the Athlon XP would get no benefit from PC2700. PC2400 is for overclockers and is rated stable at...

Critique System Build

He's going to use this computer for a database of all his farm stuff, run a few work related apps, thats pretty much it. You may say this computer is overkill for that, but this guy keeps his computers for a LONG time. The computer that he's upgrading from came preloaded with windows 95.
