U2412M disappointment

I'm on a similar boat as the OP. I'm planning on buying a new IPS panel. I come from a 22-inch LG monitor (1680x1050). I'm between OP's U2412M and the S2740L from Dell as well. I'm gonna use it mainly for gaming. But I'm still undecided on what would be a better choice. :$

Definitely the 27" is quite appealing. And from what I've read, the cons people mention are the very, very reflective, mirror-like glass, a not very good stand and that it isn't 1980x1200. I think I can be ok with two of them. My room is not very light, that would help minimize the reflections...

Thanks again, lehtv. Added the Antec Three hundred Two as a new option in the Case section. Although, I'm quite fond of looks when it comes to the case, and the CM HAF 922 is very good in that department. Perhaps that will ease my decision, considering also that it's very well reviewed. :)...

Haha, thanks for reminding me of putting a case up there, Torn mind. I forgot! :D About the case, it needs to be a Cooler Master, Antec or Thermaltake under $100 because I have to buy it in my country, due to high shipping weight and those are the brands sold here. :rolleyes:
