I'm not even near the cities. its the Jersey shore! Every town around me that I drive through for work i end up seeing those stupid scam signs. there are too many to write SCAM on or take down.

Hi, I am trying to use DFS (distributed file system) between a windows 2003 small business server with sp1 and a second server running windows 2003 server standard R2. However it is not working properly, biggest problem is that the files are not replicating to the backup server which is the R2...

outlook 2003

every pc i have looked at after the 1 client told me about it happening ends up showing this same exact thing, every outlook 2003, (exchange servers are handling mail at every site I went to) and multiple client sites experience the notification envelope vanishing when someone goes from "mail"...

as soon as a user in outlook 2003 clicks from the inbox (this is while the "new mail notification" is in the notification area of the task bar.) over to the calendar portion of outlook and starts working there for a minute, the notification envelope vanishes without a trace, no longer indicating...

the "email notification" icon shows up when you get new mail in outlook 2003 (winxp os). if you do not read your mail, and just ignore it, or your away from your pc for a while, that icon is not there anymore. it goes away after some amount of time, maybe an hour? how can i config this so that...

i think you have a virus actually since those also load in normal mode and not safemode. a clean windows install of either xp or vista on a different older hard drive you have probably laying around will answer if a virus, or just corruption is the problem. it sounded like both xp and vista were...

fudzilla? ha! while we are at it, let's say that k11 will be released before k10, and it will have 500000000 cores, runnning at 3.2Thz, will be a zillion times faster than the k8, a billion times faster than k10, and is being released june 15th. (insert unreliable fake news link here) :laugh:

if your friend's 7950gt works without problems in your pc, then its still the 8800 card that is the problem since your problem is following that 8800 under all scenarios. http://www.tomshardware.com/20...aving_guide/page7.html is a link you should look at, the 8800 probably uses more power...

they told you 18A for a single 8800GTS is fine? if and only if your certain nothing else shares that rail. ;) if the card has problems in your friends computer. that typically means its the card, since it followed the card. (problems such as screen corruption and the unstable system) since...

All drivers installed but still no audio

if what cprince said is true (device shows up in device manager, all the volumes are at 100%, and you even went as far as trying reinstalls of the OS), and you still dont have sound. you are right, it is the mobo, and that means rma.

computer restarts after MSI splash screen.

possible its heat related, if you turn it off for 10 mitunes (cools down things like cpu, chipset, video card, memory, etc.) then turn it on its fine. check the temps, clear out dust, try the memtest86+, also try out prime95 (will heat up cpu).

that totally sounds like a power problem. i'm pretty sure the 8800gts is a card sucking up 30A on a 12v rail. 4x12v 18a rails does NOT equal 72A on a single 12v rail. it probably took a while for the card to stress your power supply to the point of it giving these issues such as screen...
