How do I turn off this external HDD?

thats the only way they turn off? Do they even turn off automatically after a period of time?

How do I turn off this external HDD?

I picked up an maxtor external hard drive today, and there is no buttons or anything to turn it off, even when I shut my computer down its still on and spinning, ive checked the manual and website but I cant find anything on how to turn it off, anyone have an idea?

Dell XPS m170 for $1388

Its still not within my credit limit because it still adds $95 tax, Im off by $82.. And this is on my DPA

this sucks because my current credit limit is 1362 and I cant make a payment on it over the phone or online, and I cant get an extension.

Im kinda weary about it not having an antenna, I need something with very good reception as my computer will be upstairs and the router downstairs

what is the best wireless usb adapter out right now? Im moving into a house thats going to be equipped wirelessly and my shuttle doesnt have an PCI slots, so I was just wondering what you guys would suggest would give me the best range, speeds, and consistancy. thanks
