How do I go about adding an office webcam that can be viewed by our overseas office? I don't want a live stream or audio, just a static image updated maybe once every 15 seconds or so. We have a website but are on a limited bandwidth ADSL connection so don't want it to be a bandwidth hog...

Quick question for those who've built PCs

Assuming I've an old-ish PC (circa 1999) that's running a K6-2 500 mhz CPU. Can I buy a cheap new mobo and CPU and upgrade with just those two parts? I'll keep the CD drive, floppy etc....just upgrade the mobo and CPU. Sound do-able? Also, obviously I'd use the heatsink and fan that comes with...

Question about piracy...

Not 100% sure what you're saying here. If a game is rented by 100 people, it doesn't matter if 99 of them are pirates, as long as those pirates don't spread their copied versions. Correct?

Very true...never thought of the store initially paying for it. So, assuming the internet isn't used. Does anyone lose out on the above scenario?

Question about piracy...

Argument with some friends about this, my view is that piracy isn't worth it in the long run but some friends use the following when I hit them with the 'losing money' arguement. Ok so I'm not going to deal with the moral or legal aspects of pirating games....most people agree that it's wrong...
