Update. Well I pulled the trigger and got the 3470S. I'm pretty happy with it and only a small part of me thinks maybe I should have gotten the i3 instead and saved roughly $60. The CPU idles at around 39C and after a few hours of gaming it went up to about 59C so I think I'm good...

Borderlands 2... another AAA title bites the FXAA bullet......

Im with you. If the gameplay is fun, I don't seem to mind anymore. I think PC Gamers in general have high standards for games. Still, seeing PC Gamers spend upwards of $1000 on hardware, I can understand the frustration with not being able to properly enjoy it.

Good Wii multiplayer games?

Right now Skylanders: Spyros Adventure seems to be all the rage for kids, I'd look into that. Donkey Kong Returns is a decent platformer. If they like Rayman Origins, they'd probably like Donkey Kong Returns. Haven't tried Mario Party 9 but its probably the same as the previous iterations...
