Its in the engine bay. I just drove the truck home and upon getting out, smelled coolant. The driver's side of the engine bay is wet and I think the radiator is shot. the upper radiator hose was dry but underneath that it was soaked and so was the power steering reservoir and windshield...

Now I'm nervous. If it's the heater core, that seems like a warm spring weekend job, not a middle of winter job. He said he smells coolant from time to time so I'll check it out. Decided to go up Tuesday to get it as it was cold and rainy this weekend but should be in the 50's by the middle...

Ha, yes, however, it looks like the transmission was replaced sometime in its life and shows no signs of any issues. Tranny fluid was clean also, but not new. I am debating if I want to sell it and my Mercedes ML500 (with 67k on the odo), or keep it, or what. A tranny rebuild does not scare...

Bumping this. Bought a car at copart, its the XC90 T6 with 135k on it.. hoping the transmission is ok because I plan on fixing the fender/bumper and trying to flip it. Paid 1001.77 out the door after copart fees/taxes.

I got my Anova today!

I'm still using my anova regularly but wish I had a better container that didn't cost more than a few bucks. Currently I use a large stock pot but the lid obviously won't cover it completely with the anova in the way. We still do chicken breasts for chicken salad, burgers (and then sear them)...

I'm not a fan of Menards. To get any lumber, you have to buy it in store, then go drive around out back, load it up, get checked on the way out of the yard, and then go home. By contrast, in HD, you just load it up on the orange carts as its near the cash registers already, buy it right there...

2019 Ford Edge 2.0L Turbo

Our water pump failed on the 3.5 ecoboost. It failed with the fluid dripping outside the engine though, so no engine had to be replaced. I noticed the leaking fluid and 2 days later had it in the shop (its a company car, so the company pays to fix it). Also had issues with timing chain...
