Your soo right. But just now I was playing Unreal Tournament Alpha and it was taking 6GB of ram usage. Someone with 8GB would eat it good.

No kidding. What is the WS for in the model. So its a desktop mobo and ECC works hmmm ?

I thought ECC is only relevant on a Server chip. Xeon or whatever. Unless Im wrong. Also what desktop motherboard accepts ECC RAM. I can't think of one.

That is a good simple cheap box that will get the job done. Only thing is their all from cheapo companies. You want his rig to last you have to dish out more so you know it wont break down rest of its life

I just realized, I don't have any overclocked CPUs/APUs in use right now.

I just realized, I don't have any overclocked CPUs/APUs in use right now.

Man I overclocked a P2B board + 450Mhz P2 CPU lmao. I overclocked that biaaa to 504Mhz. Then for the longest time I didn't know why my UT99 was freezing ,, just screen pause and I was like wtf, so I didn't OC video card but ya it would happen until one day I wen't into the BIOS and changed that...

Is 1000W enough?

Hes gonna barely make it with 4x 1070's. How much does each pull. 200 watts per video card ? That would be 800 watts if Im correct and Im not saying I am correct fyi. So theres 200 watts left for CPU and mobo and all your devices. Your gonna barely make it and might run into issues. Good Luck

Guys Windows always show slow Mhz which is not your speed. Its a windows thingi forget about it, just check with CPU-Z or alike app.

Help with Ballistix Memory

Another one, dude you can't cuss and call people the A word,.... nah jk :) oh the board ... Ok those timings should work on a 1066 or 1333 ,, hmmmmmm maybe you have to up the DIMM voltage. Your good up to 1.65v so bump it to 1.600 and loosten the timings for testing purposes. let us know

Hey ZGR thank you much for the response. and Yes I use MSI but one thing I don't understand my clock and memory situation, its like 300 for memory and like 130 for core. and ya Its a EVGA 760 4GB FTW hehe. Shouldn't it be like 1500 memory and 500 core or 800 core I don't know.. hmmmm sighs

Considering dual boot Win10 + Linux (Linux as primary OS)

Your trying to have it where you can press a key combo and it goes to Linux, then hit it again and your in windows. So its not dual boot, its both OSes loaded and you can switch back and forth. I know you can do this but I forgot what name of app or what not was used.
