Just don't uninstall the amazon app store or the programs will stop working. They require the app installed to work.

Amnesia: Dark Ascent

Want to pick this game up. Looks awesome. Since it's only 20 dollars, I am wondering how long it is going to be? That is, how many hours of game play can I expect for my first run through? Or is it dependant on how smart I am and how fast I solve the puzzles? With out any Spoilers, does anyone know?

Duke Nukem Forever to be released according to the Wall Street Journal

Well it does let you draw on whiteboards. That's new and pretty cool and will probably affect multi-player the best. I don't think peeing into a urinal is new, you could do that in the old Duke3D, but this time you get to see the stream. :-)

Apparently I was wrong before. There is no 'free fico score once per year'. What was added in the 'wall street reform' bill was the ability to get your fico score for free 'if you were rejected for a job or denied a loan.' You could always get your credit report after that, but now you get the...

Whihc is better? Iphone version 1 or Nokia Xpress music 5800?

There is no easy replacement for you if you have T-mobile. The only iphone equivilent that you can get right now for T-mobile is the Touch pro2 from HTC. It's a windows mobile 6.1 phone, so it has lots of configurability and the features you want. However, it's a 350 dollar phone if you get it...

t-mobile is going 3g in my town on Tuesday

I am 500 meters from a tower that is supposed to push out 3G. T-mobile has said there is a problem and says they will send people out to fix it. That was supposed to be last Thursday. I still only have 2 to 3 edge bars.

Good luck with that dude. I am smack dab in the middle of a Tmobile 3g zone. I am lucky to get 3Edge bars though. I think I am in a dead zone.

Yeah, the chances of that are pretty slim. Less than .5% (thats half of one percent) are anything but the 1 dollar GC. That means you have a less than 1 in 200 chance to get a 5 dollar card.

1 free request per envelope. So if you send in the SASE to get the 1 dollar gc it will cost you 88 cents, giving you a 12 cents profit. If you send in 10 SASE requests, you will get 10 dollars worth of gift cards for 8.88 dollars. Not a very good deal.

Blu-Ray BD-ROM SATA Drive - $39.99 + shipping @ Frys

I got an LG BD reader (8x) DVD/CD burner for 79.99 on sale a few weeks ago at Frys B/M. It was in the paper ad. It included Powerlink 7.3 with BD playback. Works great! I'm happy. Maybe they will have that deal (or better) on Black Friday? Edit: Oops. It's a blu ray reader, DVD/CD burner...
