Why do random numbers make it harder to crack an encrypted HD?

Christof Paar has 24 lectures that anyone can understand on youtube. Each is about hour and a half long. I have watched them all, some several times. Once you watch them you will have a very good understanding how this works.

eMachines dual core (T4400) laptop $298 @ WalMart 2/28

Is Nvidia at it again with faking scores?

If nvidia is cheating, why have I not seen an nvidia card score in the top 5 3dmark06 hall of fame in the last 3 or more months? Yeah so I only check once every few weeks but out of the top 10 scores 9 always seemed to be the Ati 2900 card crossfire. edit: I just have to add this little...

edit: isnt' having 2x 512 ram on your video cards, going to completely waste the last gigabyte of your 4gig of ram? I am not sure but you might be ok with just 2 gigs?

I agree with above posters. Go with one better card like the 3850 ATI or 8800GT. Unless you really want to go with sli. also if you only want to game you are better off with a e6750 dual core, its cheaper and kicks the q6600 @ss in games.

Looking for a Multiplayer Cooperative FPS

ArmA good coop missions, UI a bit hard to get used to. I played this game for about 5 months with friends. Very close to Operation Flashpoint game from 2001. It has modern weapons and vehicles, but there are mods galore out there for WWII.

pc games are changing?

Everyone has problems with pc. Its the nature of the beast. Between driver problems, windows problems (authentication stuffs too), steam, DRMs, internet connection and viruses ect.... there are tons of problems to be had with pcs. DRM is just another one of many. Its becoming unrealistic...

Years back, the programing was very simple. It didn't take multi-million investment to create great games, so if only few games were sold the company made money. Nowdays the games are so complex its takes years to program and troubleshoot and tons of money to publish. I dont' blame them for...
