Are my temps high?

Q9550 + P35DS3R + 4 DIMMS => Overclock & DC OK?

Thanks Zero Gear Sounds like the X48 chipset can run an OC'd quad + 4 "Double sided" DIMMS in dual channel, quite happily. Just need to find out if P35 can pull the same trick (I'd really like to confirm that my exact board can do it before taking the risk of spening the cash to find out)...

Well spotted VirtualLarry. I think it was indeed a 486 DX2/66. Haven't you got anything better to do than memorise the listings of 20 yr old computer chips? (actually 19 years if you are going to be to be picky, which I'm sure you would...) :)

Fave CPU's you've owned of all time?

Favourites: Current E4500 (@3.2) XP-M 2500 (@2.4 for years) - 'kin luvved this chip (still using it undervolted/clocked in our 2nd PC). Writing this is tempting me to fire her up with 1.9V and see what she'll do :) (never had the balls to really juice her when she was on front line...
