Team Fortress 2. Nothing like a little comedy amidst chaos and destruction to lighten things up. And if that gets boring, Civilization IV.

PS3 Controller on Windows 7 64bit - No Go?

I always thought the 360 controller to be superior to the PS3. Any reason you prefer the latter?

Arkham Asylum

I really need to play this game. The graphics alone look pretty sweet and apparently the gameplay is great.

I'd say TF2 but the 24 player limit might not be enough for you. I recently started getting into it and it is a combination of intense mayhem and hilarity.

Shogun 2 Total War system requirements out

As long as they don't release a product still in beta like they did with their last title, I'm excited! Although to be honest, now that I think about most TW games were at least fairly buggy upon release.

Single Player or Multi-Player?

To me that sort of FPS sub-genre didn't so much die out due to consoles, but as a product of evolution. Sort of like how Company of Heroes/World in Conflict pushed the RTS envelope, I feel that newer games like TF2 are redefining competitive online play.

Verizon Wireless retiring New Every Two's Early upgrade option?

Its nice to have two parents on the same plan that never upgrade their phones. :D But in response to this topic, I always looked at the ability to upgrade well before the expiration of your contract as a sort of extra courtesy. If you need to have a phone significantly more often than every 24...

Dead space 2 jan 25/27

I've been playing the original in conjunction with some other titles I've recently acquired, and I have to say that it is a pretty good game. Not quite survivor horror, but still very fun nonetheless.

STEAM sale: What did you got?

Just the Valve Complete pack. I wanted to pick up a bunch of other developer packs that were on sale (like 2K, Ubisoft, and Sega), but I never got around to it. As upset as I am about missing the opportunity to spend just ~$200 on $800 worth of games, the awesome sauce that is Team Fortress 2...

Really depends on the genre. And my two favorites, RPG and RTS, are generally suited to either one respectively. Recently though I've been playing a ton of TF2
