Audigy 2 in Vista?

Wow, thanks! I installed the xfi gamer drivers and they work a treat (although albeit slightly quieter than in xp) :D

Ok thanks guys. Luckily, i remebered i had some USB plantronics headphones which i plugged in and they worked straight away. Better than nothing and will tide me over i suppose.

Hello all. I've been running Vista ultimate 32bit for a few days now, and i love it, but i haven't got any sound yet. I'm using an Audigy 2 but there are no drivers available for vista yet. I seem to remember that there were some before, but that they expired. Are Creative simply waiting for...

indeed. It's amazing how you can just go to a city, turn on a laptop and bam! - unsecured wireless access points come at ya left right and centre. Stupid people ;)

that's right, xp auto detects the new dual core chip, installs the necessery file and then asks you to reboot. Simple as that :)

My Socket 939 Dual Core Opteron 165 **Fast Stuff**

Got my hands on a 165 from komplett for 230 ukp and..... IT DOES 2.6 Ghz on both cores with only 1.39 volts! That's sp2004 prime stable for 12 hours on both cores at the same time. I'm well chuffed :)

these are pretty cheap now...you can get a 165 for £230ish. I'm sorely tempted.... is dual core really that great? i'd be moving from a opteron 144 at 2.9....
