Yeah, problem is that I don't have a floppy. Otherwise I would have just used Ghost. Thanks for the reply though, any other suggestions?

Which Hitachi Travelstar to get for a T42??

On a similar note, is there any problems with buying an OEM drive for a laptop? I've bought OEM plenty of times for desktops but never for a laptop. Anything I need to know before buying the OEM drive from New Egg?

Yeah, I'm going to UCLA. The only problem is that I live in MD so it's kinda hard for me to go over there and check the laptops out. Maybe I'll give them a call and see what they have to offer. Thanks for the input!

Hey, I found out that IBM is running great deals on their preconfigured laptops through educational discount (I'm going to college). Is it worth it to purchase the exact computer I want sans the 60GB 7200RPM HD since it comes with a 40GB HD and then buy the 7200RPM off ebay? It's about $220 off...
