How do you tell a teacher you think he is flat out wrong?

My understanding was in fact that the CX frame will generally be slightly less aggressive, but also with usually have a higher bottom bracket than a standard road frame. That's the case with my Surly Cross Check, anyway.

I've got a Surly Cross Check, also in bright orange. I can tell you that a cyclocross bike will be slower than a road bike, and there's not much you can do about it aside from using 23mm tires, which sorta defeats the purpose of going cyclocross in the first place.

wtf is this?!

There are a number of stations that do this in my area, but I've never seen any being deceptive about it. There are always two sets of prices listed on the signs: cash and credit. As for debit payments, there are a lot of stations that are a bit shady, charging a $.45 fee without any notice...

San Diego's Stone Brewery 12th Anniversary Beer Festival in Cal State San Macro

Yes, the 12th is pretty damn good. It's a creative solution to the hop shortage, bittering the beer with chocolate. The end result is very tasty. I'm looking forward to the 8.8.8, probably going to get enough to cellar for a while. I just had my last bottle of the 6.6.6 a couple of weeks...
