I have enough ports to connect my raptor array and boot into my old array, what method do I pursue in order to mirror the image from my old array to the new raptor array?
Right now I'm running two 250GB SATA drives in Raid 0, and recently got my hands on two Raptor 150GB drives I'd like to set up in raid. What I'd like to do is keep my current install and contents intact, and mirror them over to the Raptor Raid array. What is the best way of going about doing this?
I had a 120GB laptop drive in a USB enclosure, and it fell a few feet off a table onto the ground. The drive is recognized and I can see all my data, but when I try to copy data off of it or write new data to the drive it gives me a cyclic redundancy error and won't do anything. I'm willing to...
Yes they will, that's why I spent $900 on this card...because their warranty is modder-friendly and covers the card even if overclocked or cooled with aftermarket solutions.
Also, I'm positive it is the card, as I am running the system fine right now with my old 7800GTX. I have also tried...
I have an XFX 8800 Ultra XXX (675Mhz core stock), and got the Zalman VF1000 and RHS-88 heatsink for Christmas. I spent this morning going through the instructions, carefully removing the stock heatsink unit and installing the new Zalman exactly as the instructions dictated. I put the card back...
"Incompatible Display adapter has been disabled. At least one display adapter on the system has been disabled because its driver is not compatible with the driver for the VGA adapter."
My 8800 Ultra continues to work fine, but it won't let the X600 run.
I am trying to get a tri-monitor configuration running with dual 20"s on the sides, and a 24" LCD in the center. My main card is an XFX 8800 Ultra XXX edition. I tried to use a PCI nVidia 5500 video card to run the spare 20" lcd, but it makes my system bluescreen. I have a PCI-e ATI X1600 Pro...

Basically, when I go into the BIOS and set SATA mode to RAID, it shows me the Itel Matrix boot screen where it lets me set up my raid 0 array as usual. However, it...
Piecing together a new system to replace my X2 3800+/7800GTX system, have the following idea.
CPU: Q6600 - $280, also considering just a dual core if Quad core is unnecessary

I need to piece together a system for roughly $1500. I will be recycling my Silverstone TJ03 case, as well as my hard drives. Everything else is going to be new. I use my system to run dual 2005fpw LCD's, and I do a lot of multitasking with school work, I like to play games, and have all...
I had some ram go bad on me, causing my computer to hard lock. This happened while Outlook Express was compacting email files. Upon rebooting, I found that Outlook now showed me as having 0 messages in both my inbox and sent items box! I backed up my DBX files, then reinstalled windows...
