I snagged this deal from Best Buy with those two $50 rebates and 10% off coupon ($305 total before taxes). Am very happy with it and it's surprisingly good, especially for what I paid.
I've watched Lord of the Rings on it and it was fine - no ghosting or blurring, etc. so you should be okay...
They've been around for years so I would think they're reputable. Ordered a few books from them a couple years ago; no problems. Just forgot about them - their prices have always been awesome.

P.S. Just checked my old email archive and found an email from BookPool back in 1997! Boy that...
What do you guys think? Is this is a pretty good deal? Been looking for a 18" or 19" LCD display for quite some time.
Also, where would I find 15% off coupons? I'm on all these Dell mailing lists but I never get these coupon codes for some odd reason.
Thanks,
Ray
The Walmart down here in Florida charges 24 cents per 4x6 print on Fuji archive paper. Sam's Club charges 20 cents. Excellent quality too, at least at these stores. Both are convenient - you can upload the photos and pick them up or just go there and pop your memory card into their machines...
I'm sorta new to this sort of thing, but it would be very neat to somehow set this up as a GPS navigation system (perhaps also as a MP3 system?) in my car. What would be the best way to do this?
I still have my old Earthmate (I think that's what it's called) serial port GPS that I used to use...
Perhaps they are also factoring into the cost the software/OS Dell provides?
Still, can you tell me how you would be able to get the above for under $500? I also wouldn't mind using Athlon as well if it brings the cost further down.

Thanks for the tips, folks. I think I'm going to go ahead and build my own because I've always wanted to and learn while doing it. It just ain't the same as buying a PC. ;)
Any recommended resources out there on how to build your own computer properly?
Am a total novice at this.
Thanks,
Ray
Greetings, folks!
I'm sorta new to this - thought I'd ask the experts here for their thoughts. I'm looking for the best place to buy good barebones kits so I can build a system myself. Any suggestions as to where to go?
Additionally, I was checking Dell's prices lately and I was wondering if...
Updated. I went there today to buy some coffee and got that coupon again on my receipt. Have three of them now - they're not tied to any specific purchases.
