Finally got my system to post (DOA cpu or c2d not recognized by mobo, dont know which yet) but its runnin corsair 2x1gb ddr800 and seems to be running just fine.
MAJOR UPDATE!!!
after installing a celeron CPU from my local store the system posted just fine. In the process of flashing new bios then trying c2d again.

Using the Zalman 9500. Have to say that Im not as impressed with it as I thought I would be. The way it mounts onto the mobo seems a bit weak to me (2 screw bar thingy) other than that well have to see once I start getting temps back!

Just threw donwn the $$$ for a e6400. I was going to wait for an 6600 but they guy told me that they had 7 6400's left and I figured "why risk not getting a CPU in time?". So I went through with a 6400 sale at Tiger. Now I gotta order a heatsink though....

I am planning on buying one of the 2407 LCD's that dell makes. I placed an order with dell about a week ago and they now told me that it has been "delayed" and wont ship for over another week.

Auctually I'll probably be up for another 3 hours anyway and dont honestly expect to get a chip anytime in the next 24 hours. If they do happen to come out tonight though I dont wanna miss it.
