You're right but as it stands with the NUC that I have currently (https://www.newegg.com/intel-boxnuc6i5syh/p/N82E16856102144?Item=N82E16856102144) I just can't run anything too intense like torrenting or the fan starts blasting.
Well in that case then I guess I'll get a ThinkPad micro unit...
I guess I was writing implicatorily but I will be needing it for a Linux home server to run
- SAMBA
- MyNode (Bitcoin/Lightening Network server software)
- Torrent client 24/7 operation.
What is "GE"? oh the GE sub-models for the AMD Ryzen lineup?
Can you give me some Amazon links to some...
I'm in the market for a refurbished/renewed Dell Optiplex SFF desktop computer. I just need it for Linux so I can run SAMBA, MyNode, and to seed/upload torrents 24/7 among other self-hosted software.
The only question I have for all of you is that can you run torrents on these kinds of machines...
Does anyone know where I can buy a 15 pin D Sub to 8 TRS 3.5mm female cable?
I'm looking for a replacement for my sound card (http://www.htomega.com/eclaro.html)
an image example of what I'm talking about
(http://www.auzentech.com/site/images/xfiforte/images/analogcable_lg.jpg)
I've tried Cyberlink and that didn't work either. I can't think of any other player out there for the PC that can do Blu ray.
I know that there was that AnyDVDHD solution but that's bullocks and a waste of money.
I'm sorry I was using an old acronym. By "vga" I meant video card (Video Graphics Accelerator).
So I have a mini HDMI to HDMI cable that is connecting directly between my vdieo card to my monitor.
I'm having a hard time to play any Blu rays on my pc.
I have a ASUS MK241 monitor, a Nvidia GTX 460, a GTMax mini HDMI to HDMi cable (http://www.buy.com/prod/gtmax-mini-h...82E16827151199), and a trail version of WindDVD 2010.
Now my problem is that whenever I try to get WinDVD to start...
Zagood: that's sounds like a good idea because it's my suspicion that the cable is obstructing some of the airflow from the CPU heatsink to the exhaust fan and so I i'll give that solution a try.
Modelworks: I could try that molding tape or the two sided tape white tape. thanks again...
You see there is a needed PSU connection for the motherboard which the PSU can only reach by going from the bottom to the top between the CPU heatsink fan and the exhaust fan (>_<).
Also....is there any electrical tape that I can use to actually stick against the metal without coming off? Black...
I'm not running all the fans on a molex and yes all fans are needed for the case.
The fans are being connected to a fan controllers (I apologize for not posting a picture earlier of it)
