Yeah, some of the graphs make the difference look huge, when in fact it's quite small in several cases, because the graph doesn't start a zero.

You should check out Mark Bohr's IDF presentation on 22nm tri-gate. It includes a timeline of recent transistor developments, as well as his take on where other semiconductor mfrs are relative to developing similar processes. I posted info on how to find it in this thread...

Graphene utilized, faster CPU's a reality lot sooner..

Scientific progress is great, so kudos to them on their advancement. As for making tomorrow's super chip from it - please do let me know when they can FAB a chip with 1,000,000,000 transistors using this stuff, with high yields. ;) * Not speaking for Intel Corp *
