What percentage of your pre-tax income goes towards your mortgage?

About 11% for us. (Actually it's probably close to 20% as we're paying it off faster) The bank's recommendation was below 30%

"NO CARRIER" error in V.90 modem.. help~~

1) Isn't iOS 9 for the iPhone? Why are you trying to use a modem with a smartphone? 2) And this thread is 14 years old!

Need advice on new laptop

My wife's old Sony Vaio is at death's door so I'm looking into new laptops. Main uses are emails, simple Internet use and watching random YouTube videos so nothing especially taxing. Her criteria are cheap, 15 inch screen (I think we can get away with 14 or 13 really) and reliable. Touch-screen...

Attention pirates will be given a copy of Windows 10 for free

The article says that you download the preview but it will have the telemetry permanently on while using the preview version. Plus Microsoft may change its mind between now and releases AND there's nothing about pirates! What article were you reading?

Steam's Early Access failures?

Isn't the whole point of KS/EA to provide more funds for game development? Then Steam holding the funds halts development!
