How do you handle bank accounts with your SO?

We're 36 years in as a couple. She's likely to stick. I handle all expenses because I'm better at it and way back when I was an early adopter of internet investment, banking, and bill payment which made it so much easier.

Are you on disability?

My wife is on disability. Her back is fubar and had a spinal fusion, besides since she's been on disability she's had both knees, one shoulder,a hip replaced, diagnosed with degenerative bone disease, and rheumatoid arthritis. Sitting is the worst thing for her. Not too many jobs you can do...

The interstate highway system was started by Eisenhower in 1956. Are you saying there were no highways before this? Funny, because I grew up next to Dixie highway in Michigan and it was a 5 lane road with parking on each side. The designation of highway from wikipedia:

OMG you guys - I forgot how fun this is!

Bought a small (980 sqft.) house in '08 and had to pretty much re-drywall the whole house. I was a whole lot better at slinging mud by the time I was done than when I started. Fun? I'll say you can learn to enjoy anything you get good at.

Anyone missing a portion/all of a digit(s)?

Back in my early days in die shops on your first day you couldn't walk around and shake everybody's hand and not run into a couple of guys missing fingers. The most often culprit was a bench/pedestal grinder. I think that is why you see the proliferation of belt sanders in the knife forging...

Schoolchildren banned from even touching snow

Couldn't they have school vetted snow appropriately filter through screens? Have their parents sign a release to be issued vouchers for an allocated amount of snow.
