I want to set something up where I can get a text message or email if the power goes down at my house since it'll get really hot for my dog.
Since my laptop can be left on I was thinking if the laptop loses internet as a result of the router going down because the power is off. Any suggestions?
Not sure if this is the best forum for this, but basically:
-we have 6 TV monitors in our office spread across 2 floors
-there are Chromebits connected to all of them
-right now each are individually controlled
-we'd like to set up a webpage that allows us to control the content on all 6...
We don't want this, but it was the only way we could get it working.
We ended up resetting the DHCP since it looks like it ran out of IPs to assign and we're good now.
Ha what's the downside of it? And what's the alternative to allow laptops to be able to get IPs randomly assigned?
Or, any ideas why are laptops that used to work no longer working?

I think this may be it.
More details:
I assigned random IP addresses to the non working laptops and they work fine, e.g. 192.168.1.232 which tells me any new connections are looking for an IP to be assigned but are not able to get one.
So it looks to be a DHCP issue based...
We have an office of 75 with ethernet ports for everyone as well as Wifi hotspots in the ceiling.
Recently we've had issues with some of the laptops not working through wifi and ethernet, and some only have wifi issues (and ethernet works).
We're connected through a Sonicwall and a bunch...
Yeah went into the Windows Display Settings and the intel display settings with no luck. TV now has a big thick black bar running down the middle so we think it's just defective.
At our office we have a TV that will work with some laptops but not through other laptops.
The TV is an 80" Vizio and most of us use Dell Laptops but it also has issues with MAcbooks.
The laptops in question work finely with standard monitors plugged into the HDMI port, but not with this...
A few hours ago my keyboard acted weird by registwring keys I wasn't hitting. Restarted a few tkmes, removed the drivers and then it completely stopped working.
No keys work, I can't even disable the wireless adapter or hit caps lock.
I did shut down and the power button that's built...
Here is a demo of what we need done:

Basically this is an Amazon report for a specific date range. The date ranges are contained in the URL so we can replicate that in an Excel spreadsheet.
What we need is for a tool to go to the URL, hit the Download Button...
My Excel was crashing consistently, so I went into Programs and repaired.
It seems to work finely now, however now it prompts me to Activate it with a login or product key whereas before it's been activated for over a year now, and I don't have access to either.
I tried using...
Ah great program. Would it tell me anything differently than what my router says on the screenshot?
Basically it's a snapshot in time right, so if the person isn't running the program anymore it wouldn't show it?
Is there any way to keep it monitoring?
We're an office of 40 people and got a notice from our ISP that someone was d/ling copyrighted content.
They provided our IP and the port #: 40733
I went through our router log and found this:

But that port doesn't exist in this list.
Any other way...
