Games you wanted to like & why

decided to play mass effect. bought it on budget. get past the first encounter. after so many tries. glad i did. HATE the controls. loving the game now :)

used to be able to get there, after the warning below. which didn't show up all the time :)

could it have something to do with this? been getting this warning for months, "Although this page is encrypted, the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party. Are you sure you want to continue sending this information?"

ff4: somewhat bizarre behaviour!!

something strange going on. if i'm on my gmail page, or any other page for that matter, then go to my msn page, i get to msn, briefly, then thrown back to the page i came from. doesn't seem to matter where i am, ff4 doesn't seem to want to visit uk.msn.com... anyone else noticed this?

Firefox 4.0 Release Candidate (RC) is Live and ready to download

told me it was installing to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox 4.0 Beta 6\" why beta 6, if it's an rc? or am i just being a muppet?

Cant install W7 SP1

tried through windows update, kept getting some dll error message. downloaded the whole kit and caboodle, installed no problem :)

Thanks Peter. Nice to know someone reads the occasional post :) This is the reason I've given up on DC, mostly. Do get carried away a bit sometimes. But, when nothing happens, it fades :)
