Picked up an '08 Suzuki SV650 yesterday

Fair enough, I'll just have to do some test riding :-D Sadly, I'm all out of money. :( I just bought a Honda Pilot with the thought I can use it to haul around things like a kayak, bicycles, or the Nighthawk if I want to take it somewhere far away

Picked up an '08 Suzuki SV650 yesterday

And here I thought I'd be fine since I'm 5'11" Guess I just need to go try one out. I think either would probably be much snappier and probably more comfortable than my old Nighthawk :-D

I was looking at those on the tubes the other day. How does it compare to the V-Storm 650 (also caught my eye)? I have a 83 nighthawk 550 that I have been enjoying since August, but I'm keeping my eyes open for an upgrade sometime. I do like the idea of more of a sport-touring kinda bike, and...

Annoying problem

That is a possibility, but I already RMAd the PSU once because it simply wouldn't turn on. If that's the case I need to have words with Newegg/Corsair

Annoying problem

Cliffs notes: Bought a new Compy 2 months ago, had intermittent problems (bluescreens, Memtest+ errors) shortly after. Tried several different things with RAM and problems went away for a while, but then the bluescreens started again. So here's my hardware: Gigabyte P35-DS4 Motherboard...

Queue CD/DVD burning

Well in case anyone wants to know, it turns out Acronis can actually burn the images to a DVD and it will span itself. Pretty handy, although I have to run the backup again to do it

Queue CD/DVD burning

Does anyone know of software that will let me queue up a bunch of dvd compilations so all I have to do is pop in new discs? I have a folder full of backup files, helpfully already separated into 4 gig chunks (Thanks, Acronis), but I don't feel like creating new compilations and starting them...

Q6600 and P35-DS4 Overclocking Problems

I am using the same mobo, but an e8400 and I have been having a ton of bluescreens, crashes, and memtest+ errors. But I tried setting those two back that way and it's working just fine now. (memtest+ for 16 hours with no errors) Thanks so much for the tip!

Bad Ram?

Update! So I got the new RAM today. Put it in... and still had memtest failures. So I tried to start from scratch... I re-flashed the BIOS to the latest version, and ran a load optimized defaults. I noticed this stuck voltage control on manual, although all the sub voltages were set to auto...

Bad Ram?

Ok so how do I narrow down the problem to being a motherboard problem? I have tried both clocking the ram down to 800mhz or giving it 2.2v and clocking it back to 1066 (what it should be rated for) and I have still had problems either way. The reason I ask about the motherboard is on one reboot...

Actually, I didn't have the voltage set very carefully, which is something I looked at last night. I went into BIOS to underclock the RAM to DDR-800 speed (its rated at ddr 1066) and it seemed to run more stably. When I set it back to default it threw me a warning related to the voltage levels...

Mobo is the gigabyte p35-ds4 CPUZ reads it as rev A2 so I think that means it is the 2.0 rather than the 2.1. *Edit* Also BIOS Version is F11 (released 1/2/08) I realized that would be useful :-) Memory is Crucial Ballistix BL12864aa1065.8fe5 Both sticks cause a lot of errors in...
