8800GT Problems

I basically have the same problem, you get a bluescreen with IRQL_DRIVER_SOMETHING right? with a nv4.sys error. If you've tried different drivers and it is still problematic, its a hardware issue so the card is basically faulty - I am RMAing mine and getting a BFG 8800GT OC 512MB and getting...

well, after excessive research, it comes down to my nv4.sys having issues, some research on the intarweb states that if it frequently happens with "correct" drivers, its a bad graphics card, need to get it replaced, since everything else works, my BIOS has issues with reporting heat aswell...

Faulty card?

nv4_mini.sys - Adress FFFFFADF7F4863C3 BASE AT FFFFFADF288000 That is the error I get on my BSODs, I did some research about it, people claim tis either bad drivers or broken hardware, is there a way to find that out specifically?

I just messed about with the BIOS a bit, the Alarm when CPU Fan Failure Enabled => Beeping. If it is Disabled = No more beeping. The fan is spinning constantly...how can it be a cpu fan failure?

I just have a 320mb Fatal1ty, E6850, 4Gigs of 800MHz ram, the game is flawless with 1280*1024 and all settings @ High + 16AA

Does anyone have "weird" textures in Crysis Demo?
