this is hot. if you're set on this item, this is the lowest price i've seen on it. ever. yes, only 256mb storage, but it's small, firmware upgradeable, functions as a storage device for other file formats, and runs forever on 1 AA battery. i love mine and am sorry i paid $10.00 more for it than...
i have this card - connected to an smc2404wbr. when the laptop is only 40 ft away, signal strength is 1mbit. both card and router i consider to be crap. smc is rma'ing my router, the card i'll hang onto and ebay to the next sucker. if anyone wants it for 30 out the door - its theirs!

i bought these and they were Lead Data's. not the best, but i've burned 4 movies now w/no problems. i bought a 10 pack last week [same generic 'brand'] and they were sony's.
i'm coming to the end of my 3 year contract w/them this dec. i print 1900 pages a month. no color. you do have to buy color ink and maintenance kits [100 bucks a pop] from them. black ink is free for life. onsite tech support included in the 3 year contract. i've had my phaser 840 worked on...
it's an ok deal; you can get new xircom's [rebadged cisco's] off ebay for less than 40 bux
i'm not sure proxim has the best name in the business, especially vs. cisco [think geo metro vs. BMW M5]
either way good find.
i want to be able to backup my dvd movies, but i believe some of them are dual layered. can this thing backup those or not? if not, is there any way to do this with a different recorder?
if so, this is a hot deal.
