Cooler Master makes crap PSUs. I bought a 500W PSU at Fry's for a new system (new mobo, new ram, new HD) and it damaged the RAM. I replaced the RAM, bought a new Antec PSU and my system has been running fine every since.
Went to Fry's this past weekend to replace the Cooler Master Extreme.... the service clerk tried to tell me that there wasn't a problem with the PSU, but I knew better.
When I went back to the components section to find a replacement, I noticed 3 other open-box PSU's of the same exact model...
It was a bad PSU. I bought an Antec 500WPSU (modular) and my system is now stable and working properly.
It cost $109, but at least it won't damage system components.
Heh. If you say so. I checked the auto-config settings for the RAM in the BIOS when trying to track down the problem. Voltage and timing were all set correctly.
Even if it was the RAM, then it wouldn't explain why removing an IDE device made the system stable. Sorry dude, all the...
AVOID THIS POWER SUPPLY
I bought this PSU at Fry's the same day that I bought a new motherboard (Abit KN9-SLI), hard drive (Seagate SATA 500GB), and RAM (Phoenix 2GB DDR2). XP SP2 installed fine and the system worked fine for about a week and then I started getting random reboots, attempts...
Everyone likes lower prices... but cutting the prices on the top end dual core processors doesn't seem like the best way to induce upgrades? Wouldn't cutting the middle and low end make more sense?
People who buy top end are already willing to spend the bucks for the latest stuff, aren't they?
I had a Casio EX-S500. The camera was very small, but the photo quality was average-to-poor.... mostly because of washed out colors. The Canon digital cameras that I have owned have all taken superior photos with much more vibrant colors
Yeah, but someone already did this. The Chinese and their crazy 'alphabet'. The characters they use to write are called 'hanzi' (hahn-tsoo) and they pretty much work in the way you described. There are assorted different basic shapes, characters, and patterns called 'radicals' that can be...
Don't use paper. The problem with paper is that it is *very* susceptible to eddies, drag, and other 'non-ideal' effects (even at low magnitudes)... and each of these effects will change the shape and orientation of the paper as it goes through the air which means even more iterations and...
If you think that regular steam at 1500º is bad, then try supercritical steam at that pressure. The stuff will eat through/react with just about anything.
The shortage is over, dude.
This picture was taken right before christmas. (Fry's in alpharetta, GA)
I went back after Christmas and they still had more than half of them sitting in the same cage.
Kell. You are wrong about the second case.
-The water level goes down in the second case (the bit of metal inside the cube).
-Since water has a density of 1 g/cm3, in order to float the average density of the ice cube must be less than 1.00 g/cm. This means that there is a hard limit...
