Batch convert RAW AVI videos for upload to youtube?

VLC is awesome, but it doesn't do batch conversion, to my knowledge. I was hoping to take the 100 or so videos and set them up to convert over a week or however long that might take, unattended.

Road trip - one photo per minute?

Is there an easy way for me to have one photo taken per minute on a long road trip? The resolution doesn't have to be great as the final idea is to create a video of sorts. Attach a webcam to a laptop and dash mount it? Get a small canon and use the time lapse feature? any input...

do you have anything against the M3800? I've read about some incompatibility with some file formats for the media player, but the idea of one less box by the router (media player and NAS in one) is appealing.
