How long do Macs "last" in general?

I currently use a 2011 base 2.3 i5 Mac mini and a 2010 base 2.4 C2D MBP 13 on a daily basis. I only upgraded the RAM on both to 8GB. They still have HDDs and Apple is still making updates for both. I am thinking of getting a 2017 base 27” 5K 3.4 iMac. There are some good deals out there, but...

Nice build! I am thinking about building something similar. I recently got a 2.3 base Mac mini and want to build a SFF PC on my own. I like that your case has the hidden USB ports in the front so that you can add Bluetooth and WiFi.

Adding two routers to FiOS.

I was able to set this up and here is what I did in case anyone wants to do the same. I followed the guide here in order to connect my first router to the FiOS router. Next I followed the guide here in order to set up my second router as a repeater bridge and connect it to my first router...

Adding two routers to FiOS.

Thanks for your help. I currently have coax running to the FiOS router. Do I need Ethernet running to it? Could I run it myself from the ONT to the router and call Verizon if the Ethernet port is not active on the ONT?

Is there any way to speed up downloads at Microsoft TechNet?

Tape trick not working on Brother MFC-7840W.

Thanks a lot for your help. I tried shaking the toner several times. I finally gave in and put a new toner cartridge inside. I went for the TN-360. I hope it lasts 3000 pages, or so. Thanks again.
