Hi all,
I've had this problem for a few months on a Sapphire R9 280. Monitor goes to sleep, then whole system hangs. No amount of software settings suggestions from this thread helped.
For my case, tracked it down to a possible bug or memory settings issue in Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3 U1j bios...
Ok, this's a major WTF. The refund suddenly appeared in my bank statement.
Not sure whether it was EA-Origin or the bank. For all intents and purposes, the matter is over now.
Thanks all for your suggestions.
You didn't even read.
I attached a copy of the statement. The bot didnt even read it. He merely went ahead and did a copy and paste from my purchase history.
Yes...for a smaller company, the customer support usually has a direct line to billing/finance department. So they could simply walk across the office to ask.
The difficulty with EA-ORigin "support" is that it's located many miles off corporate HQ.
I'm trying to search for corporate...
You referring to the SimCity story? That's whee I got the idea that the "specialists" are really working in a 3rd world country.
Anyway, they got me to post my card statement. Then didn't even bother reading it. Just proceeded to copy and paste from my purchase history.
Hi,
EA-Origin has this Origin Great Game guarantee. https://help.ea.com/en/refund

Yeah. All japanese Rubycon caps on an Abit NF-M2 nview AM2 mobo too. Just sold that off to make way for 1155.
Worked great for 4.5 years. No leaky caps.
the stock buffalo fw is a terrible pain to work with. Requires reboots for every change that you make. 30 minutes after turning on my brand new router, it had ddwrt on it.
My school hasn't gone Vista yet, but they've started installing Office2007 on some old single core 512mb ram machines. It's nearly impossible to get anything done at decent speed. Oddly, the new Dell dualcore 2gb ram machines still have office 2003 on them.
Presuming the other computers are trusted computers in the network, you can configure them to use specify login credentials when accessing your DAVELAPTOP.
Start Menu -> Run -> "control userpasswords2"
select Manage Passwords.
Finding user reviews on AM2+ motherboards is about as hard as finding reviews of those early LGA775 i915/925 motherboards. Gigabyte P35 mobo opinions greatly outnumber AM2+ mobo opinions, just like how Asus A8N-SLI opinions outnumbered LGA775 ones back in the S939 days.
Not-so-great...
There;s a Linksys one with built in plug. WTR54GS travel router. It has 1 WAN port and 1 ethernet port. If you need more features, you can try 3rd party firmware on it.
