Hi, I am starting a course at my university that will require me to learn PHP and SQL on my own. Does anyone have any experience with any good books on PHP and SQL they could recommend to me? Thanks, I'm not looking for anything too complicated, but I don't want something too simple either...

Is AGP 8x Backwards Compatible?

Hi. I recently bought a cheap graphics card for my computer to use temporarily. I was wondering is AGP1x/2x compatible with AGP 8x, which is what my motherboard supports? I plugged the video card in, but nothing is showing up on the monitor. Are there some settings I need to adjust? -Thanks!

Nvidia Drivers cause Windows 2k to hang at start up

Hi everyone, Well, i got the drivers to work. I just had to use the cd that came with the graphics card. For some reason, NVidia's own graphics drivers as well as the drivers available on MSI's own site for this graphics card doesn't work. Hopefully this post will be able to help others...

Ack! Just finished reformatting and reinstalling the driver. It still hangs again. Any ideas? Could it be the video card itself? Should I try using Windows XP?

OMFG Why is my Volcano 9 soo loud?

Man, today I accidentally stuck my finger into my volcano 7+ and it nearly took my finger off! My index finger is all bloody and the nail is cut in half. Ouch.

Connecting two printers to one computer.

I have two printers and one file server and I was thinking of setting up a print server on the file server, but the file server only has one printer port. Anyone have any solutions? Does anyone know of any reason I shouldn't use the same computer for both file serving and printing?
