In the far future, will it be likely for PC's to have a Terahertz worth of speed?

The niche may be small but it is very lucrative as the margin for such market is extremely high. So I personally think it is still something viable

I think it all goes down to the fundamental value of what good does it bring to have this kind of power PC back in your home ? If there is a need to have such high speed CPU while the other feature comes in a package, I don't see any reason why poeple out there would not want to design such chip !
