Is the GTX 1070 worth it?

Where did you find a 1070 for $450 CAD? Cheapest one I've seen within the last 3 months was a Zotac 1070 FE for $490 with free shipping.

Newegg no longer offering returns on their ebay store?

It says that but you can still start the return process if you've bought the item and they'll go through with it. This happened to me when I was having second thoughts about a 1070 I bought through their eBay storefront; I eventually changed my mind and kept it, but Newegg still issued me a RMA...

Upgrading from GTX 670 SLI, is the 1070 worth it?

Hi, just looking for some feedback. I saw this on sale today, the cheapest 1070 yet I’ve seen in CAD. I’m upgrading from EVGA 670 FTW SLI; would be looking to play Doom, DE: Mankind Divided, Battlefield 1 and I currently still play SW: Battlefront and SC2. I’m wondering if I should get the 1070...

A+ Exam Prep Hardware Questions

Don't you still have the option of taking the 700 series tests? I just got my A+ back in Feb. and I think I remember reading you had till August to take the older 700 ones and still get credit for it. Unless of course your course stipulates that you have to take the 800 series.

Fanless Ivy Bridge system -will it be possible?

P55A-UD4 is on Newegg

From what I understand so far, the UD4 series doesn't have it's x16 slot dropped to x8 if you use SATA 3.0 or USB 3.0, but those speeds are still capped at 250 MB/s because it's still using that PCIe 1.0 x1 lane. Apparently the Asus boards don't reach the rated SATA 3 speed of 600 MB/s either...

http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=807 So it's not at the full speed but it's still better than what Gigabyte's using. I think that it should be fine with an Intel 80 GB G2, which is what I'll be running on it.
