That's true (the PC using DVI). Now do I need a DVI to Component converter coming out of the box, or *should* there be component outs on the HD Cable Box? So if I'm not getting the HDCP signal, am I still getting HDTV? What's the downside of not having that HDCP compatibility? Now's where...

LCD TV? Need an LCD with inputs like coaxial,s-video, composite and such.

What's cheap? Sharp has a couple of 23/24" models out there that look like they're okay deals. DVI, HDMI, 2XComponent, S-Video, etc. -E

Tivo for $6.95 a month *appears to be dead*

Pretty sure they can do whatever they want. But you can call and tell them to get bent, too. Which is exactly what I'll be doing after 3.5 years of TiVO subscription service on three different boxes. Bye, bye TiVO...if the ads come. -e
