I NEED HELP!

Well, it turns out he didn't realize that he had 2 keyboards plugged in to the computer. One of them (The one he didn't realize was plugged in) had soda spilled on it a while ago and the enter key and p key stopped working. Not to mention this keyboard is the one I originally thought he was...

I NEED HELP!

That was actually my next step (Having my dad check the power at the outlet). I think all the keyboards in the house are ps/2 keyboards. I'll ask him if any are usb keyboards. We did switch the mouse from the back panel to the front panel usb ports with no affects.

Team Fortress 2 -- Constantly minimizes to desktop?

I just came across a posting on affinity's blog that mentioned that fix. Trying it out and so far so good. I tried upgrading my video driver (8800GTX) and that worked once but then back to the minimizing maximizing business... I think it was just a fluke. Luckily it's not a problem that can't...

Team Fortress 2 -- Constantly minimizes to desktop?

I'm having this problem, running vista 64 sp1 and I do have dual monitors. Running ultramon, but it used to run fine with the same everything. I'm not sure what I installed or changed that may have caused the bug... Mine's kind of different though. It's as if it's minimizing and maximizing...

Quicklaunch Taskbar turns clear!

And on a related sidenote, is it possible to administer "ontop" preferences? I have my quicklaunch toolbar set to "Always on top" and I also have Winamp set to "always on top". But I want the quicklaunch bar alwasy be on top of winamp, but winamp generally takes precedense and is on top of the...

Quicklaunch Taskbar turns clear!

So every so often my quicklaunch taskbar which is set to autohide and is at the top of my screen turns clear and I cna't see anything in it. All I can see is the bottom line of it. The line you'd drag to resize... A restart brings it back, but that's quite annoying! Anyone heard of this before...

Network configuration

SCORE!!!!!!! I figured it out! I don't know why I didn't think to do this to begin with... Anyways, all I did was set up the direct connection which had worked previously, and took note of the ipconfig selections. I had been thrown off by the dns suffix, but when I did ipconfig/all it showed...

Long time for right-click

I'd been trying to set up a network amongst my machines recently, and it may be related to that. I ended up runnign the network wizard a few times... I ended up giving up on setting up a network that way and just access my machiens through directly accessing their ip's. There doesn't seem to be...

Long time for right-click

Alrighty. It definitely has something to do with my LAN. After I disabled my NIC it completely went away! Re-enabled it... RIGHT back to lagging! Any thoughts?
