Info Small business ERP server hosted locally?

I'm going based off of the recommended hardware from the vendor. Was planing on a 250 - 500 GB SSD for boot drive and then 4x500gb SSDs in a raid 10 which is like 900g of storage. thats more than enough space for us.

Epicor, dunno how big the db is, hosted on their servers and i don't know that i could check it. small company but fairly complicated. we have lots of various kinds of transactions and also full manufacturing. 'next steps' for using the software will be to incorporate barcodes into our travelers...

Hello all. I have a computer which I just installed Ubuntu to which has an i5-750 for the CPU and an HD5850 for the GPU. What I'd like to do is have all my media content on hard drives in this computer and then stream to Chromecast using the Plex app. Is this a pretty reasonable setup...

AMD to launch new flagship Radeon HD 7970 desktop graphics card on December 22.

Are you repeatedly typing GNC as a joke, or do you think that the next AMD GPU is likely to be chain of vitamins and suppliments store? [It's GCN] For some time now we've been expecting 3 separate ASIC's with GCN. That would mean 79xx, 78xx, 77xx.

Crysis 2 Tessellation Article

First picture... I can't even tell why it looks better. I see the tessleation, but thats not making it 'look better' to me. Second example is a great way to use tessellation. I think what people are compliaining about, is that in addition to this, there is obviously a bunch of tessellation...

help me understand crossfire

CAP is the application profile provided by AMD for CF. Its a separate download so that they can update/fix the application profiles as they have them, rather than waiting for the next driver update. Also, since the vast majority of people are not doing CF, then they aren't making people d/l...

SemiAccurate: Southern Islands, Kepler, and Apples A6 process puzzle outed

If this is true, its likely that AMD will also have a refresh of their product line launch on the 28nm HP process 6+ months later, close to when Kepler will launch. This may be a situation where they can 'best of both worlds', with a launch now, and and an updated/improved board 6 months...

I'm not overly concerned with cores/threads. The main issue is what can I get for ~$200 to purchase a CPU. Right now the 2500K is FAR and away the best choice. My hope would be that AMD would launch a product that could actually compete with intel. Right now, it doesn't matter if you buy a 6...

I'm confused, how do the i5-2500k and the i7-2600k perform differently if these benchmarks are supposed to show 1 thread, at the exact same frequency?
