has anyone created a standard 2253bw profile yet? i can't seem to find one. i understand it won't be completely accurate, but considering i don't have the hardware to properly calibrate myself, it's better than nothing. thanks.

Has anyone picked up Serious Sam II yet?

plays just as well as the original serious sams on my 9800xt. i'm waiting for my friend to acquire it before i play. should make coop more interesting when i don't know what i'm getting into.

Is there a program called Steam Down?

not true at all. look how long it took them to stop all the emporio releases. and steam-down DOES work on legit servers if you own hl1 on the account, but then it's not completely free as the poster suggested. and you definitely DO risk getting your account banned.

F.E.A.R or Q4 on the 18th??

fear is quite possibly the biggest let down i've had since doom 3. played through the game and the entire thing is running through warehouses and offices. the story is completely vague and the end leaves you more confused than you were in the beginning. it runs somewhat better than the demo...

Is there a program called Steam Down?

you cannot play on legit servers via steam-down. you can play over lan, on patched servers, or singleplayer. if you attempt to play on a legit server, you will be able to connect, but shortly after your game will crap out and people ingame will see "no steam logon" error pertaining to your name.

hey, is there any way to do this with wingrub? i don't see why not. i'm just not sure how i'd go about settings it up to do so. all the tutorials are catered toward knoppix

i ordered an nec3520a. couldnt get vmware to install. can't get a lot of things to install. this is part of the reason i'm wiping my o/s and installing the x64 version.

now i know buying a new burner would be the easy way out, but i'd really like to figure out a solution for educational purposes. is there any way to boot from an iso file on the hard disk to perhaps emulate a boot cd?

getting to dos is not the problem. i'm just not sure how to initialize the setup from dos. with regular winxp, i just went to the i386 folder and ran winnt.exe. i can no longer do this with x64, as it's not present.
