It probably does work, i didn't read it until i had already used the undeleater method. Thanks for the help tho, i have copied and pasted your sujestion incase i have a similar problem again.

Thanks for the help, I sorted it now, I created a new account with the same name which overwrote the old one and deleated the files, i then recovered the with an undeleater.. a bit risky but seems to have worked perfectly. Thanks again for the help...

cf to IDE adaptor

the prob being that then i cant make my little project of turning my old mp3player in to a hifi jukebox.. i would be willing to strip out an old 4mb cf cardand make the adaptor up if somone could point me in the direction of a guide or diagarm or such showing which pin should be connected to...

cf to IDE adaptor

basicaly, i got a usb2 cf card reader and would like to use it to run ide devices, the power is not a prob, cos will use mains adaptor for that, also, i have a retired mp3player, which i would like to hook up to an old hdd and make a sort of dukebox... any help in finding/making such an adaptor...

cf to IDE adaptor

hi, i'm looking for an adaptor which will allow me to attach an IDE drive to a compact flash slot, i know the otherway round exists and that IDE and CF standards are electronicly the same so it should be doable. anyone know anywhere i can purchase such an adaptor? thanks.

setting the ram to 2700 is effectivly using a devider 2700/3200 = 0.844, if you then OC your FSB to ~237MHz then your ram will be running at 237*0.844 = 200MHz (3200). this is usefull if yur cpu will go higher, but your ram is stuck, and there is no penilty for running in this async mode unlike...

Never ever got anywhere with OCing and now I need help.

On some mobos htere is an option to run the memory async.. you could adjust the memory down to 5:4 and up the cpu some more if you have the option, also since the mem controler is intigrated there is no or very little penilty for running async unlike athlon xp.

Never ever got anywhere with OCing and now I need help.

Many peopel get as far as 2.4GHz with the 2800+ and some volts, i'd be willing to bet that your processor can go higher with volts, that mobo is pritty sh*t and has no PCI lock so you are also overclocking your harddisk controlers, that could well be leading to windows corruption you mented...

4000+ is pritty doable with a mobile barton 2500/2600+ and the right mobo, memory and Good air / entry level water cooling. I know that many ppl are getting to 2.6GHz with them and i figure that the incresed FSB that most run them at will easily make up for any shortfall. People have got them to...
