Quiet SATA DVD burner

Can anyone recommend a good SATA DVD burner that's quiet when reading discs? I don't care about noise when burning since it's only a few minutes, but if I'm watching a DVD movie or something, I dont' want to hear the drive at all.

AHCI + Seagate drive causes board to hang at POST

Buying aftermarket cooling for my 8800gt

They're the same as far as I can see, but the first one you linked to has a clear fan and blue LED's. Unless you want the extra bling bling, I'd save my $12 and go with the second one. You might also want to look at the Thermaltake DuOrb, I heard it's been outperforming the VF-900.

mATX Mobos That Overclock

Only for 1066FSB chips. No bios for the DS2R allows 1:1 for 800FSB chips.

G33 overclocks all chips just fine. It's basically P35 but with onboard video. G35 (X38) should produce similar, if not better results. As long as you keep it cool, you shouldn't have many problems overclocking with a G33 chipset. EDIT...

Reducing Q6600 heat in uATX case

Q6600 at 80c load? Help!

Get the NT06. Which PSU do you have? The NT06 + PSU Fan should work well, although it still may not be enough for a quad. Get as many fans in as you can. And thank you for using all of your CPU cores:thumbsup: I hate it when I see people who want to get a quad just because they're cheap(er)...

Why not say exactly what case you're using? In any case, that doesn't look like a great cooler to be using, especially on a quad. In fact, I wouldn't really recommend running a quad in an mATX case unless you absolutely need and can use all 4 cores. And in that case, you're gonna need much...

Dual PSU question

Better yet, dump both of those Ultra PSU's, get a Corsair 620 and be done with it. Using 2 PSU's for a single GPU setup is silly IMO.

You can't do 10x300 at 1:1? I doubt you'd get 10x400 to work, but 7x400 or 8x400 should work. And try upping the voltage first. Also, what cooler are you using? I hope you're not using the stock cooler. 47°C idle is too high anyways, it shouldn't be idling much more than 40°C. Make sure...
