Asus A8R-MVP ram question...

Thats seems to be the case.......people with slower processors...aka 3000+, 3200+, 3500+, ect... have lower PWM IC temps than people who have monsters under the hood like 4000+ and FX series. Every time someone tells me they are in the mid to upper 30s in temp on the PWM IC they have a 3200+ or...

PWM temp on DFI Ultra-d

I guess it depends on the CPU...if you have a weaker cpu, like a 3200 or 3500, then the temp wont be as high as mine, because i have a FX-55, and i have it clocked to 3.0 on air. I was also told by DFI that im good till 100C in the PWM IC area.

PWM temp on DFI Ultra-d

Most people are telling me its in the 50s, what processor do you have, and are you sure you are telling me the PWM and NOT the chipset. Think having my memory at 2.85V and having a FX-55 has anything to do with it being in the mid 40s? What kind of specs you have?

PWM temp on DFI Ultra-d

Demo24.....i installed a 520watt modstream by OCZ and my 12v line was horriable, it was at 11.77 and under load was at 11.55, so i put my X-connect psu back in, my 12v line is at 12.03 idle and 11.80 load, whats the deal, i sent it back and im waiting for another one, what do you get?

Ok so you can just plug your 20 PIN powersupply right up to your DFI Lanparty Ut ultra d board?

Yes, i had the A8N-SLI and i had the x-connect 500watt(34amps on the 12v line), and it worked fine, leaving 4 pins open on the 24 pin connector. Then i got the 20 to 24pin power wire(NOT AN ADAPTER) for the X-connect and it did nothing at all, didnt even help the overclock to be honest. Make...

Ok, its come to my attension that there is a problem with some peoples PSUs and the DFI Nforce4 motherboards. Here is the problem: The 12v 4-pin connector has a capacitor right next it. Some PSUs have thicker wires than normal, like the X-connect or the OCZ power stream.......now what happens...

NF4 and SLI issues?

To be honest, SLI is turning out to be a nightmare......and believe me, i had 2 6800GTs and an A8N-SLI........look at my sig, dont see it anymore do you?
