Best card for about $130

I am saving the money for the 9800XT. Hoping with the release of the nv40/rv420 will drop the price on the "old" generation ;) I think after what you all have said I am just going to spend the extra $20 or so if need be for the 9600 Pro Thanks for your input

Best card for about $130

Hello all My vid card died on me and I am now looking for a stop gap until the prices on 9800XT drop. My intial thought is for the 9600 pro though the places selling seem a bit shady any thoughts or ideas Thanks for your time and help

Help with re-install of XP

A little background info. After returning from vaction my system would not boot, it would get to the screen with the grey bar just before windows loads then it would re-boot. I figured I would try a fresh install of windows and the install would hang when the percent bar would come up to copy...

thoughts about this monitor

I am looking to get a new monitor, which will be used for a little of everything. The video card will be upgraded in about a month to probably an ati 9500-9800 depending on money at that time. The monitor I was wandering about is the NEC fp912 sb, any thoughts since I can not seem to find one...

Case Vent ???

I was thinking of doing my first case mod with nothing other than a top of case vent with a possible 80mm fan. Any thoughts on this and how much it would drop the temp right now it is runing between 56-59 with seti running in the back ground. Also would a small 4.00 amp/volt saw be able to...
