I got the P180B for like 80-100 after a rebate.. got shipped the p182B. Really nice case, love it so far.

GeForce 7 in Win98?

It is a 7 year old OS.. you really should move on to XP full time :P What games are you booting into 98 with? If its just to do say a really old 2d app.. you may be able to get GF7 to work in 2d. Not sure...

Q6600 heat sink?

Well I am not doing water on this rig.. Ultra 120 is pretty freaking big, it can't deal with a TDP of 230 watts? I have a nice 120mm fan waiting for it.. also have a 2nd fan that will be blowing outside air right into it. Like I said, not going for 3.8 GHz.. if I get 2.8 or 3 GHz I will be...

Q6600 heat sink?

Well parts getting ordered in next month so can't wait too long. Wonder if the thermalright ultra-120 fits on a P5B. Looks like it should... Never bought a heatsink that didn't have a clear fan mount.. what size of fan is meant to go with it? 120mm or something bigger?

ICH8R Question

The thing is.. the raid5 is just to store stuff like DVDs.. speed is not important, as even the slowest software controller will let me read a DVD off in real time. Am looking for a cheap way to get redundant storage, and raid5 is it. 4 500 gig disks can be had for under $500.. giving me 1.5 TB...

ICH8R Question

Hi, Looking at the Asus P5B deluxe to put with a Q6600. Picked this board because it has the ICH8R which has a little nicer raid support built in. I can't figure out the limitations of the controller though. I KNOW its limited to 4 devices in an array.. but not sure what other limitations...
