Um, you got an intake. It's nothing like super/turbocharging... those methods compress the air and force it into the cylinders, an intake mod is basically a larger tube.

Most Reliable Car under $16k ? Im thinking about Mazda Protege5 2003 model...

Subaru 2.5TS!!! It's Subaru's basic AWD wagon. I'd bet you could find a new one for $15k or so. For 16k or so you can get an Outback Sport, which is AWD and has a much better interior and a firmer suspension. You can get new Civic SI's for 15k in PDX now, and you can get new Jeep Wranglers...
