Nope. The "delay of an inverter" is closer to being correct. FO4 just describes the driving/loading condition of the inverter getting measured.
You need a realistic driver because input slope affects device delay and so the driver of the inverter should be sized 1/4th the size of the inverter...
When you see nuances like this, it's generally an indication that the "general instruction agnostic" approach is lacking in capability in some way. A couple things to consider.
1) The difference in power between AVX and non-AVX traces is large.
2) The response time of the power statistics &...
A standard design CMOS 2-input NAND gate is 4 transistors only.
And at least in my workplace, we view SRAMs and flip flops as two completely different things.
I sort of disagree.
At least the way I use it, I guess there's three categories. Drawn gate length, effective gate length and effective channel length.
Drawn gate length is usually what I see during physical layout and I like to describe it as "the length at the top" since we usually look...
I think what you're doing is great. There's two ways you can go from here. The first is to actually produce the circuit and find out that the minimum frequency difference is much higher than what spice is telling you. Then you can go on to figure out why. At least in my undergraduate, we had...
Yeah, I would say average relative performance would've been better than accumulated FPS. And you're really picky, I guess you can do weighted average relative performance based on # of copies sold. That way the relative performance would be more reflective of the common case.
So how come Geekbench is still around? ;)
/don't flame me bro
But seriously now, there's a huge mountain of legacy math libraries that will never get updated and CPU designers need to either throw all of them under a bus or just make sure that the CPU is robust enough to handle crappy...

I'm not sure how big of a problem this is for Android and whether or not the preinstalled apps it impacts the phone performance. It doesn't sound like there's any preinstalled rootkits but it sounds like people...
